Jakarta-PR: Board of Research Development and Training Centre For Law and Judiciary of Supreme Court held One Day Seminar on Terrorism Eradication in Maintaining Unitary State of The Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) on Thursday, September 7th 2017 in Grand Mercure Hotel, Jakarta.

Several speakers present in that seminar, there are Artidjo Alkostar as Chief of Criminal Chamber of Supreme Court, Dr. H. Suhadi, SH., MH.,  as Spoke Person of Supreme Court, H. R. Muhammad Syafi’I, SH.,MH, as Chief of Special Committee of Terrorism Draft of Law, Prof. Dr. Enny Purbaningsih, SH., M.Hum as Chief Of National Law Development Agency, Ministry of Law and Human Rights and Brigjen. Pol. Martinus Hukom, S.I.K., MH as Director of Law Enforcement of National Counterterrorism Agency.  

Artidjo as one of speakers said that terrorism is obstacle. “Terrorism has and will always become structural obstacle in gaining the nation mission which is democratic, egalitarian and fair in frame of law sovereignty. Then to gain desire fair and wealthy public. The process of fair and wealthy public is to change the law system and distribute system of wealth nation and free from extraordinary criminal, include terrorism.” He said.

Artidjo adds that One of moral postulate used as a basis of issuance Terrorism Law in Indonesia is because terrorism become cross country criminal, organized, and having wide network caused threaten the peace and national as well international security. Justice is the basic need for nation and the adhesive of social cohesion in the life of the country. The paradigm of the Criminal Code (KUHP) and the Criminal Law Procedures Code (KUHAP) still do not change yet, there for we ratify several international conventions. Then the paradigm of law enforcement is required in accordance with the moral postulates of the applicable legal provisions.
