THE SUPREME COURT WILL ESTABLISH THE ACCREDITATION RULES FOR NON JUDGE-MEDIATOR CERTIFICATION INSTITUTES

Jakarta-Public Relation: In the near future, the Supreme Court will issue the rules that stipulate the procedure for granting and extending accreditation to non judge-mediator certification institutes.  Currently, the Supreme Court is finalizing and harmonizing draft Decree of Chief Justice of the Supreme Court that actively involves all members of the working group which has been formed.

In a meeting on the 30th of May 2018 the head of the working group, The Honorable Justice Prof. Dr. H. Takdir Rahmadi, S.H., LL.M, demanded all members to finish the discussion and establish the decree forthwith. “We have to establish the Decree immediately considering that many mediator certification institutes have applied for accreditation to the Supreme Court,” said The Honorable Justice Prof. Dr. H. Takdir Rahmadi.

The Honorable Justice I Gusti Agung Sumananta, S.H., M.H, The Honorable Justice Dr. H. Purwosusilo, S.H., M.H., the Head of Law and Public Relations Bureau Dr. Abdullah, S.H., M.S., judicial judges and Reform Team also attended the meeting.

The Decree will stipulate the procedures for applying for, granting and extending accreditation for non judge-mediator certification institutes in the future so that these institutes have ground rules.

For following up this meeting and accelerating the discussion, the working group has decided to form a small team. The team will analyze and pursue members’ propositions from this meeting and afterwards they will formulate them into the substance of the decree. (Angel F. Kresna)
