Written Tests for 265 Ad Hoc Anti-Corruption Judge Candidates held in 17 Provinces

Jakarta - Public Relations: Following the announcement of applicants for Ad Hoc Anti-Corruption Judge Candidates Stage XI of 2019, the Supreme Court declared that 265 applicants have passed the administrative selection phase, simultaneously in 17 high courts of provincial level throughout Indonesia on Thursday, April 11, 2019.

The written test held in DKI Jakarta high court Area was officially opened by His Excellency the Chairman of the Supreme Court’s Criminal Chamber, Dr. Suhadi (who also served as Chairman of the Supervisory Team of the Supreme Court for the test). The rules of the test were read by the Registrar of Jakarta High Court, DR. H. Teuku Ilzanor, SH., SE., M. Hum, accompanied by the Committee of Supreme Court led by the Registrar of the Supreme Court, Made Rawa Aryawan, SH., M. Hum, and the Regional Committee Chairperson, Chief Judge of the DKI Jakarta High Court, Dr. H. Muh. Daming Sunusi, SH., M. Hum. There were 33 participants in total.  For DKI Jakarta First Instance Court, there were 17 participants competing for first instance court level and 13 participants for appellate court level. On the other hand, for the DKI Jakarta High Court, a participant followed the test for first instance court level and 2 participants for appellate court level. The written test started from 8.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. for the first session. The second session commenced at 11.15 a.m. until finished.

In his remarks, Suhadi stated that the Supreme held the written test selection for Ad Hoc Anti-Corruption Judges for the eleventh time which was carried out simultaneously in 17 provincial levels of High Courts followed by participants who had passed the administrative selection before. For those who pass this written selection, they will be entitled to take the next selection process, namely profile assessment and interview.

Attending at the opening of the test were members of the Regional Committee, including the DKI Jakarta High Court’s Secretary, Head of Divisions and Head of Sub Divisions of DKI Jakarta High Court, and the Central Committee Special Criminal Registrar of the Supreme Court, Suharto, several Assistants, and Staffs from the Supreme Court.
