CELEBRATING ITS 74TH ANNIVERSARY : THE SUPREME COURT TO LAUNCH E-LITIGATION AND HYMN

CELEBRATING ITS 74TH ANNIVERSARY : THE SUPREME COURT TO LAUNCH E-LITIGATION AND HYMN

Jakarta – Public Relation: To mark its 74th anniversary on 19 August 2019, the Supreme Court is going to launch E-Litigation application and its own Hymn. This was informed by the Secretary of the Supreme Court, A.S. Pudjoharsoyo during a discussion with all involved heads of bureaus and divisions in his meeting room on Thursday (18/07/2019).

According to Pudjoharsoyo, the inner feeling of this 74th anniversary was not much different from last year anniversary.  “This year we need to ensure that all working units in courts are well-prepared to implement the electronic-based court," he explained.

As the preparation was in progress, the Supreme Court has been strengthening the application by amending regulations related to electronic case administrations, which added provisions of doing litigation electronically (E-Litigation) and the application to use. “We expect this system along with the application can be launched at the anniversary," he continued.

Based on these ideas, the theme adopted for the anniversary of the Supreme Court would be still centered around the concept of making the best use of technology in court management. “The theme will be determined by the Honourable Chief Justice,” he added.

The Launch of the Supreme Court’s Hymn

Besides the launch of regulations and application for electronic litigation, the celebration of anniversary will also introduce the Hymn of the Supreme Court

Pudjoharsoyo considered the Hymn is necessary to encourage the spirit of judicial apparatus to perform their duties. “The Supreme Court has never before had a Hymn,” Pudjoharsoyo revealed.

The Hymn is being finalized now by the Supreme Court with the help of a well-known musician, Addie MS.

“We plan to officially blaze aboard the Hymn to all court officials and officers at the anniversary day,” Pudjoharsoyo added.

For the release of the Hymn, the Supreme Court is also drafting a Decree of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court which establishes the use of the Hymn in official events of the Supreme Court and courts within its jurisdiction. (PR/Mohammad Noor/Photo:ishma/Trsl:Ai)
