Jakarta–Public Relations: Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Dr. H. M. Syarifuddin, S.H., M.H., attends virtual Commemoration of Pancasila Day on Monday, June 1st, 2020 at Command Center of the Supreme Court. In commemoration lead directly by the President Joko Widodo, the Chief Justice accompanied by Vice Chief Justice for Non-Judicial Matters Dr. Sunarto, S.H., M.H.

The commemoration on “Pancasila in Action Through Cooperation Towards Advanced Indonesia” also attended by Vice President K.H. Ma’ruf Amin, Leaders of Institutions, Ministers who are attending from each workroom. Besides, commemoration started with recited Pancasila Text by Chief of People’s Consultative Assembly Bambang Soesatyo, continued by recited Law 1945 by Chief of House of Representative Puan Maharani.

In his speech, President Joko Widodo delivers that commemoration of Pancasila day amid covid-19 is tested fighting spirit as nations, tested sacrifice, discipline, obedience, and tranquility in taking policy measures quickly and accurately.

Furthermore, Jokowi emphasizes that in facing these tests, the Indonesian should be grateful that Pancasila remains a corner star to drive unity in overcoming all challenges. He adds, Pancasila also mobilizes a sense of concern for sharing, strengthens brotherhood, and cooperation to ease the burden on all the Indonesian and fosters fighting power in overcoming difficulties and challenges.

At the same time, Jokowi says that Pancasila must be noble values in the days of life, Pancasila must be values which live and work in life. Pancasila must be a value that continues to flare up in the spirit of the Indonesian.

The commemoration ended with singing Garuda Pancasila song together.
