CHIEF JUSTICE OF THE SUPREME COURT LEADS VIRTUAL RETIREMENT COMMENCEMENT OF CHIEF JUDGE OF SULAWESI TENGGARA RELIGIOUS HIGH COURT

Jakarta – Public Relations: Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Dr. H.M. Syarifuddin, S.H., M.H., leads virtual retirement commencement of Chief Judge of Sulawesi Tenggara Religious High Court on Thursday, July 23rd, 2020 at the Chief Justice room, Jakarta.

In his remarks, the Chief Justice says that this is the three times he leads virtual retirement commencement. Digital transformation in the event is crucial to do to obey the health protocol in breaking the chain of transmission of the virus Covid – 19. One of the ways is the limitation of assignment out of the city to keep safe and healthy of our selves. The Chief Justice says that even though the condition is unwell, he hopes the sacred of the event could not be outdated, and he hopes also all participants can follow the session solemnly.

The Chief Justice adds that the series of ceremonies that carried out today is monumental and historical for Dr. H. Muslimin Simar, S.H., M.H., because this day is the last day for him after 4 years serves as Chief Judge of Sulawesi Tenggara Religious High Court. 

Indeed, retirement commencement was processed to give appreciation for chief judge dedication in serving his/her job as vorpost of the Supreme Court. According to Syarifuddin role of the chief judge was definitely strategic, especially in controlling, supervising of court judges and apparatus of Supreme Court subordinate judicial bodies.

Dr. H. Muslimin Simar, S.H., M.H, has been dedicated half of his life for judicial bodies. His carrier journey along 40 years even as staff, judge, and leader in the east region of Indonesia is evidence of his loyalty and dedication to the nation.

According to the former of Head Supervision Body, in that time, certainly not a few trials and challenges faced by Dr. H. Muslimin Simar, with all the limitations of access, accommodation, and facilities, he was able to perform the task as well until the end of the term of his job. Surely it can not be separated from the service based on sincerity. For a judge, sincerity at work is a significant tool that keeps judges enthusiastic at work, as well as being a shield that shields him from all temptations. 

At the end of the remarks, the Chief Justice says that retirement will stop all office routines, but is not mean that it will stop to keep working and dedicating. Routine to examine and decide cases are ended, but routine activity for family, people, and nation will not be ended. Furthermore, Dr. Syarifuddin hopes communication and sillaturrahmi among members of judge corps and the judicial member will always be in touch.
