Jakarta – Public Relations: Different from previous years, this time not all of the leaders of the Supreme Court shall attend the Annual Session at The House of Representative building. Supreme Court’s leaders who attend the session are only Chief Justice Dr. H.M. Syarifuddin, S.H., M.H., Vice Chief Justice for Non-Judicial Matters Dr. Sunarto, S.H., M.H., as well as Secretary of the Supreme Court A.S. Pudjoharsoyo, these three leaders attend and hear directly the State Address of the President in Senayan. 

Furthermore, the other leaders hear virtually at Command Center of the Supreme Court, they are Chairman of Development Chamber Prof. Dr. H. Takdir Rahmadi, S.H., L.L.M, Chairman of Administrative Chamber Prof. Dr. H. Supandi, S.H., M.Hum, Chairman of Military Chamber Dr. Drs. Burhan Dahlan, S.H., M.H, Chairman of Religious Chamber Dr. H. Amran Suadi, S.H., M.H., M.M, Chairman of Criminal Chamber Dr. Suhadi, S.H., M.H, and Chairman of Supervision Chamber Dr. Andi Samsan Nganro, S.H., M.H.

The annual session of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR) of the Republic of Indonesia is held with Joint Session of the House of the Representatives (DPR) of the Republic of Indonesia and the Regional Representatives Council (DPD) of the Republic of Indonesia, as well State Address of the President of the Republic of Indonesia in addressing Draft of State Budget for 2021 fiscal year in MPR/DPR Complex, Senayan, Jakarta on Friday, August 14, 2020.

In the session, Presiden Joko Widodo wears a traditional dress from Nusa Tenggara Timur which is completed with a black mask. In his remarks, the President says that the target of the time is not only to escape from pandemic but also to do tremendous leaps in utilizing this crisis momentum. 

At the same time, the President also appreciates the Supreme Court performance which is quick in response cases. “As well as, the Supreme Court guarantees the speed of trial services in the pandemic era. Provision of virtual trial services with e-court and e-litigation applications has accelerated trials outside of open and face-to-face trials,” says Jokowi.
