INTEGRITY AND GOOD MORALS ARE THE MAIN PRINCIPLES FOR A JUDGE AND A JUDICIAL APPARATUS
Jakarta-PR: Competency and professionality are the essential keys for a judge and a judicial apparatus, so never stop learning and exercising ourselves with many skills. We can make a good habit of always reading in our free time because knowledge can be obtained by reading a book. However, besides professionality, integrity and good morals are the main principles for a judge and a judicial apparatus.
Prof. H. M. Syarifuddin, S. H., M. H., Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia was said the statement at Developing Judicial Administration with the Chiefs/ Heads of Appellate Level Court and First Level Court on four (4) of judicial environments on Tuesday, 20 February 2024 at Convention Hall, Jakarta Conference Center, Jakarta.
Furthermore, the Chief Justice said that professionality obtained by learning and practicing then obeying for the Almighty God will create integrity and good morals and we will have a pure heart if we worship regularly and praise God. That pure heart will create integrity and good morals.
Prof. H.M Syarifuddin expressed that the development of this era has forced us to remain creative and innovative in order to keep up the development. Domination of robots and smart devices will be taking a role in any occupation unit including the unit of law enforcement and judicial practice therefore we must develop ourselves and be ready to face the development by providing the superior and expert human resource in the Information Technology unit.
According to Prof. H.M Syarifuddin, technology is an instrument used to improve the service of judicial entities these days, so the technology must be developed to support judicial duties. Our applications must be developed and advanced to provide great benefit to the judicial entities in the future. The development of technology must be followed by improvement of the human resource in judicial apparatus, due to modernization may only be implemented by the modern and innovative human resource.
By the end of his speech, Prof. H.M Syarifuddin encouraged us to protect our beloved entity with our heart and soul. The Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia and any judicial entity are the home to a judge and a judicial apparatus which we have to protect the pride, status, and dignity, to remain respected and honored to the people who demand for justice. Preventing the one scabbed sheep is enough to spoil a flock, so that all the achievements we have worked seem worthless.
