Jakarta – PR: The Prophet Muhammad who is narrated by At-Tirmidzi said: “Charity may purify sins as water may extinguish fire.” This hadith describes how big the virtue of charity which we share, moreover in Ramadhan, the month of full blessing and forgiveness.

As the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Prof. Dr. H. M. Syarifuddin, S.H., M.H., said in the Dharmayukti Karini of the Supreme Court handover charity program on Tuesday, 26 March 2024 in the hall of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia.

According to him, this Ramadhan is suitable for us to earn great rewards from God through our worship, either the obligatory or the sunnah.

This event is an annual tradition in the middle of Ramadhan from Dharmayukti Karini of the Supreme Court to give donations in the Supreme Court Jurisdictions.

“This donations is not only helping our brothers/sisters in need but also will become a great reward for us to perfect our fasting in this Ramadhan,” the Chief said.

In the same event, the Leader of Dharmayukti Karini of the Supreme Court of the Republic Indonesia (DYK MA-RI), Sri Anggarwati Sunarto, in her welcoming speech says this event is conducted through the cooperation and participation of many parties. “Thank you very much to the committee and all parties which have contributed, so this donation event may be held,” she said.

Besides that, the Leader of the Committee, Nelfa Yulius, says in her report this social event of charity is dedicated to the staff of I and II Categories in the 7 Work Unit, Cleaning Service, Securities, and Technicians of the Supreme Court Jurisdiction.

Besides the donations, the DYK MA-RI also holds a social event of Anjangsana to the Wisma Tuna Ganda-Palsigunung Orphanage, Cimanggis, and Depok, and they also give the donations to 4 (four) Orphanage of Orphan and Dhuafa (Poor Peoples).

In his closing speech, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court thanks the Leaders of the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court Justices, the Registrar and Secretary of the Supreme Court, Echelon I and II Officials, and all parties who have given their money to help our brothers/sisters in the Supreme Court through the donations for this Eid Al-Fitr. So the happiness and joy that we feel will also be felt by Honorary Staff, Office Boys, Securities, and Technicians in the Supreme Court Jurisdictions.

This event was also attended by the Deputy Chief of the Supreme Court for Judicial Matters, the Chairpersons of Chambers of the Supreme Court, the Echelon I officials in the Supreme Court jurisdictions, and the General Leader of Dharmayukti Karini with its fellow.
